Where do the workshops take place?

Our space is in the Carlaw Industrial Centre in Toronto, at the intersection of Dundas St and Carlaw Ave. Address: 388 Carlaw Ave Unit S2C Toronto, On, M4M 2T4
How many people per workshop?

Workshops typically range from 4 - 12 people.
Is there an age requirement?

We accepts students from the age of 12+. Anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also taking the workshop.
What do the workshops cost?

We offer a range of workshop options including: Beginner Blacksmithing - $299 + HST - includes all materials Custom Axe workshop - $399 + HST - includes all materials. (note* - This workshop is for a hatchet - Students will have the choice of a 15" or 16" handle) Custom Axe workshop for 2 people, who work on making 1 Axe is $499 + HST - includes all materials. RailRoad Spike Workshop - $399 + HST - includes all materials. RailRoad Spike Workshop for 2 people, who work on making 1 knife is $499 + HST - includes all materials. Custom Sheath workshop - $149 + HST - includes all materials. Custom Sheath workshop for 2 people, who work on making 1 sheath - $199 + HST - includes all materials.
How long are the workshops?

Beginner Blacksmithing Workshops are approximately 3 hours. Axe Workshops are approximately 6 hours and completed in a single day. Railroad Spike Workshops are approximately 4 hours and completed in a single day.
What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend participants wear cotton clothing (nothing synthetic), long sleeve shirt, pants and steel toed shoes/boots, We will provide face shield, gloves and leather apron. (wearing layers can help as well depending on the time of year)
Do you offer group pricing?

Yes, please reach out to hello@axcadmy.com to inquire about group pricing. Provide as many details about your group/corporate event as possible.
What is your Refund/Re-Scheduling policy?

We like to keep things simple, if you change your mind before your workshop, you can request a full refund. We also understand that life happens, if you can't make your scheduled workshop date, let us know as soon as possible and you can re-book for a future date. Try to give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else who may want to attend. Also, our E-Gift cards never expire.
